Master in Civil Law from the Catholic University, Faculty of Law

Professional Profile<\/h4>\n

Connected to the Catholic University of Portugal, where he has taught since the first law course, he was the author of several essays, articles and publications, responsible for the chapter about Portugal in the compendium on \u201cFamily Law in Europe\u201d (Hamilton and Perry, Butterworths, 1995 and 2002).<\/p>\n

He is a founding partner of SMFC and since 2011 he has been a Member of the Superior Council for the Judiciary, appointed by the President of the Republic, An\u00edbal Cavaco Silva; he remained in office after the inauguration of the new President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who appointed him to a second term in the Superior Council for the Judiciary,<\/p>\n
